Acting through song and singing for confidence.
These private lessons are held for solo, duo and small groups and the focus here is to help the student understand the structure of the song and interpret the meaning and intention. This can start at any age. All students are encouraged to bring to the lesson a song that they like and might be willing to sing to the group.
A safe singing strategy is instilled through vocal warm-up technique and students are encouraged to take the plunge to sing solo when the time is right for them; they are never forced or made to feel pressured.
We also learn group songs and incorporate harmony and techniques to develop sounds and styles of singing.
These lessons can also lead to group and solo exams through the NEW ERA ACADEMY Examination syllabus, and can be arranged for a time and venue to suit, including home visits.
